Fifteen years ago, BAE Systems Land and Armament LP, formerly United Defense, Ground Division, York, PA, approached Gamlet Inc. to build diesel fuel cells for the M88A2 HERCULES Recovery Vehicle. BAE was in a difficult position....government contracts for vehicles were in place....and their fuel cell manufacturer was going out of business.
Gamlet Inc. stepped in, just in time. We offered immediate design assistance, in order to meet and exceed the government pricing requirements. And, equally important, we provided immediate production, offering a seamless transition between subcontractors. Finally, the fuel cells were produced without failure, strictly to specifications.
Over the past fifteen years, Gamlet Inc. has provided all the fuel cell production for over 250 vehicles, including the current production contract, the largest in the history of Gamlet Inc.
