Johnson Controls-Frick Case Study One of Gamlet's largest customers throughout the years has been Johnson Controls, formerly Frick Controls/York International, the worldwide refrigeration company. It's a contract-manufacturing situation; on a yearly basis, Gamlet builds approximately 2,500 standard and custom enclosures for Frick, who then outfits the products and re-sells them with the Frick name. This relationship began over twenty years ago, when Frick (then York Refrigeration) approached Gamlet with a dilemma. Two decades and thousands of enclosures later, Gamlet has demonstrated a unique ability to be flexible and dependable, and has proven to be Frick's supplier of choice.

Before coming to Gamlet, Frick was a small operation, purchasing about five hundred enclosures a year from national suppliers. In relying on large suppliers, however, they found themselves stuck with standard units and standard designs. Frick needed a supplier with the flexibility to design and produce new designs when needed, yet still build a quality product worthy of bearing the Frick name every time. They found their solution at Gamlet, Inc.

Gamlet was able to provide Frick with several options that the large suppliers could not. We offer design assistance and various customization options, including the ability to provide custom sizes, cutouts, colors, and enclosure configurations. We've also been able to conform to every electrical/industrial specification the customer required, including U.L. and Nema standards. To this day, we build all types of enclosures for Frick, from smaller production-line boxes to large, single-run cabinets, in various materials, styles, and colors. Through the past twenty years Gamlet has provided Frick with one stop shopping; today, we're ready to be the outlet for all of your enclosure needs.
