When a customer comes to Gamlet in need of a custom product, we apply our design and manufacturing experience to provide the best possible solution. Consider this recent project:

The Customer: Voith Siemens Hydro Power Generation, Inc.

The Product: Laptop Security Enclosure

The Application: Providing a sturdy and secure housing for a laptop computer.

This enclosure is designed to mount to a larger enclosure door, and contain a standard-sized laptop computer. Fabricated from steel with a powder coat finish, it features unique design elements such as pneumatic door braces (to dampen the closing mechanism), an elastic strap (to secure the computer), and provisions for an electronic door interlock. Our engineers started with a rough existing design, and improved not only the functionality but also the appearance of the unit.

Fulfilling the expectations of our customer while maintaining our own quality standards, the security enclosure typifies Gamlet's engineering and fabrication expertise. Please see the pictures below for an illustration.

The Customer: Ritter Technology, LLC

The Product: Control Enclosure

The Application: Housing the hydraulic control mechanisms for a trailer-mounted bomb disposal unit.

Gamlet has designed and built this 3-door custom enclosure, fabricated from aluminum treadplate, one which is light enough to be mobile yet strong enough to withstand the rigors of the job. The enclosure will house instrumentation to control the opening and closing of the disposal unit door, as well as the hydraulic devices used to secure the bomb in place prior to detonation.

Conforming to the standards of our customer's application, Gamlet has developed a functional and aesthetic solution, as displayed in the pictures below.

Recognizing the need for a stronger punch for our manufacturing facilities, Gamlet has purchased a new Trumpf TruPunch 1000 machine to add to the family.

The TruPunch 100 is based on the Trumpf technology and can achieve three dimensional punching, threads, flanges and extrusions.
